Rumour about Shobana’s marriage has been hitting the headlines. The tabloids last week carried news of National Award winning actress and Bharatnatyam dancer Shobhana to be secretly married to a New Delhi-based man who supposedly is a dancer as well. He was said to be a consultant with a private company who is married and a father of two kids. It was rumored that he had shared the stages with Shobhana and has assisted her.

Apparently Shobana has denied the rumours. "I haven't got married to anybody. I am not prepared to go for a secret marriage. Actually I had little time to get married as my dance school and schedules keeps me too busy. I have dedicated my life completely for dance and my school,” she tells. Her last films were ‘Mambazhakaalam’ with Mohanlal and ‘Makalkku’ with Suresh Gopi. Recently she was offered to appear with Mammootty in ‘Ore Kadal’ but she had to turn it down due to her hectic dancing schedules. Cinema comes second in her priority list now and she is fully committed to her dance and teaching student's.
