Anuradha (Preeti Jhangiani) feels disturbed all the time and Rahul’s (Pravin Dabas) presence reminds her of her husband Akshay (Nakul Vaid), who has died. Anuradha and Rahul stay in the same house and Anuradha wants Rahul to leave the house and go away from her life. He agrees to her wishes but suddenly he gets a heart attack and is forced to stay back. His fiancé Neha (Aupama Verma) wants him to return back as soon as possible to her. Colonel Kapoor who is the father of Akshay comes back home. He grows fond of Rahul and gets attached to him as he also finds resemblance to his son and feels that God has sent his son back to him. He wants Anuradha to start her life afresh and proposes that Rahul and Anuradha should tie the knot. But his dreams remain unfulfilled as Neha comes and takes Rahul away from her.

Anuradha once again heart broken chooses to work for an NGO and decides to move to Delhi. At that moment Rahul returns back after having a break off with Neha. Without much waiting he bares his heart out to Anuradha and expresses that he loves her. But Anuradha turns him down saying that it’s only Akshay whom she loves and she is not ready to take another man in her life. With this she goes away to Delhi, leaving Rahul in a state of distress. She returns back after a few months and finds that Colonel is very happy. He soon gives the news that Rahul has left the army and has been staying with him and completing his unfinished social work. Once again he proposes her to marry Rahul. Rahul overhears the conversation and decides to leave silently fearing Anuradha's rejection again.

The Colonel makes Anuradha understand the meaning of true love, which makes Anuradha realize Rahul’s true love for her. She decides to stop him, but he has already left. Will Anuradha ever get back Rahul?
